VENUE - Karma Bar, 5 Waterfront, Brighton Marina, East Sussex, Bn25wa Learn to dance + enjoy late
night Tango at one of Brighton's foremost destination bars.
TangoBootCamp is delighted to be working with Karma
Bar to bring tango to the Marina.
Karma is a gorgeous environment overlooking the Marina with an outside terrace
for chilling and a lovely cool laid back interior. Floor is wooden and seats are comfy. Sound system is excellent. With the
lovely weather we've had recently you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the balearics!
CLASSES We run
2 classes. First one is for TOTAL BEGINNERS. Ideal for people on their first night, or who think they have two left
feet and have never done any tango.
Second class will be slightly more advanced but still achievable for a first
timer as well. WE WELCOME BEGINNERS EVERY WEEK. You do NOT need to sign up for a course or attend every week. However, the
sooner you start, the sooner you can enjoy the world's most beautiful dance.
TIMES Class 1 - 20.00-20.45 Class 2 - 21.00-21.45 Dancing 21.45-23.00 Please come a little earlier if possible so you can chill out, maybe
have a drink and so we can start on time
NO PARTNER NEEDED Some people bring a partner or
a friend but most people who partner dance socially come alone or do not have a fixed partner. We rotate people throughout
the classes so you will have plenty of opportunity to meet and dance with new people.
DANCING AND MUSIC Freestyle dancing between the classes and afterwards until 12am. To reflect the club ambience we will play a music
mix of 75% modern tango nuevo/tangoable chill and 25% traditional. You will be amazed at how romantic and gorgeous traditional
tango is and also how cool and funky modern tango music can be! We love both and can advise you on what to buy.
PRICE Price for the evening is a very reasonable £6 for class and dancing. We are launching
with a lower price than our other venues because we would also love you to buy a drink at the bar.
PARKING There is free parking in the Marina multi storey car park.
